I’ve just returned from Sun Valley, Idaho to celebrate 4th of July with good friends; more on that in an upcoming post. In the meantime I thought I’d share some images captured with my phone from 12,000 – 14,000 ft. I’ve been my husband’s “copilot” for a dozen years but experiencing the beauty of this world from a bird’s eye view is always new, humbling, exhilarating and beyond this, hard to put in words…fitting for my first (Semi) Silent Sunday post. Hope you enjoy the images.
I’ve been loving the photos on Instagram but it’s fun to see them in a larger size. Simply stunning views!
Such a stunning Silent Sunday – I am sure sitting in the copilot seat never gets old, when you are treated to views like that! I am so glad you had a great time in Sun Valley, and even happier that you were able to return in time for the Jam Party. It was so good to see you, wish I could have stayed longer and had more time to catch up with you more. Hope to finally get another get together planned soon, it is certainly my turn to host 🙂
What gorgeous landscapes and pictures!
Cheers,
Rosa
Gorgeous!!! There are no words…I guess this is why it’s Silent Sunday? Hehe, very fitting, Jean 🙂
There is something magic being up in the air like that, seeing the world from the clouds. wonderfully captured!
Stunning landscapes shots.
Hi Jean,
So that explains all your plane photos on Facebook:) How lucky to have your very own pilot and plane. I love the photos, thanks for sharing. Hope you had a great 4th of July!
