It’s wonderfully sunny outside and my husband is dragging my arm to enjoy it with him. After weeks of endless rain, I’d hate to miss out on the warm weather by being indoors. I think I should oblige!
I actually woke up from an early-morning dream that was plagued by a screaming child. It didn’t become clear to me why until the fog in my brain started to clear and I heard an equally loud squirrel right outside my window. Even he was celebrating early for the sunny day ahead.
Instead of a complete post, I’ll leave you with what I’ll call a Teaser Thursday. A future post will consist of these lovely ingredients and I’m sure you can guess what I made. Until then!

Screaming child? Can’t believe you heard Little C from across the bay!
Just kidding 🙂 He did wake up from a bad dream this morning, and we joke that he sounds like a baby dinosaur when he cries in the middle of the night.
Anyway…I don’t blame you, enjoy this glorious weather! I plan to do the same 🙂

Liren, too funny! Too bad for Little C having a bad dream, though. The squirrels here get so loud sometimes. We like to sleep with the window open and in the morning all you hear are the little creatures. 🙂

I hope it’s not squirrel stew!!!

Haha, not squirrel stew, but sometimes it’s tempting! 🙂

I’m actually glad you did not miss out on this beautiful weather! It really feels like summer and even if I have to work all day bringing the kids outside is still much better now than in the past few rainy weeks. I’m looking forward to see the full post. In the meantime….I got the book from your giveaway! And with the sweetest notes ever 🙂 thank you! I’m looking forward to put it to good use.

Lovely photo of the spices. I can’t guess exactly what you made but I’m assuming something South Asian. I know all these spices very well. Can’t wait for your post. 🙂

Is it Dal (Indian Lentil Stew)? Hope you enjoyed the sunshine!

I hope you had a gorgeous, fun day playing in the sun! I have never seen a squirrel here. I’m told they were allo eaten during the war and never recovered….
I look forward to your…. Curry?
