I love figs, just had to learn the hard way not to eat too many at once. lol. I love the simplicity of this recipe, it would make such a nice alternative to the usual Fall pie roundup. I think I like the word ,”Galette” too.

I WISH I had a good steady source of Fresh Figs. I would make jam & so many other things. As for number of jars of jams, I lost track but I do know I put up 6 cases (12 jars/case) of Strawberry jam. And a couple cases of Apple Butter!

Oh, gorgeous! I have yet to try my hand at a galette. Figs are just awesome. They look gorgeous and taste even better. And yes, I will definitely trade you a slice of fig bread for a slice of fig galette! Mmm…

Hello jean – I am actually on a southwest flight right now at 40,000 feet and reading your post. Love this fig delight and you know how much I love figs. It looks and sounds divine!
